Helistat® Hemostatis Sponge is a soft, white, pliable non-friable absorbent, ultra-pure sponge created with Integra's Ultra Pure Collagen™. This collage is harvested from the Bovine tendon, known to be one of the purest sources of Type 1 collagen.
The non-friable sponge structure makes it easy to control the application of Helistat to the location where hemostatis is needed and unwanted dispersal over the site is eliminated.
